In the Kitchen Tonight: Snickerdoodles

Tonight we have started the season of Christmas cookie making in our home and what a great cookie to start the season off with: Snickerdoodles! These cookies have truly been a favorite in our home since my boys were little and I even have the same Betty Crocker cookbook that has been with us all of these years – even has smudge prints and notes in the pages from years past. They are so incredibly easy to make in that the recipe consists of the basic staples that we all have in our kitchens (flour, sugar, butter, shortening and cinnamon).  Here is the timeless recipe for Snickerdoodles courtesy of Betty Crocker.

PS.  My hubby assisted me in the kitchen tonight which is always fun.  He says he enjoyed the results very much 🙂
